OUR STORY
In 2000, Michael Bulgarelli founded Costaff Services, which today is one of Michigan’s largest Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), servicing clients throughout southeast Michigan, across the state and around the country. When Michael started the company, he asked himself, “If I were the client, how would I build the service offering?” and designed The Human Resource Company around the answers to that simple question.
Applying that same commitment to client service and deep HR experience, he founded The Human Resource Company specifically for employers in the cannabis industry, which have unique challenges and are ideally suited to outsource their HR via our Professional Employment Outsourcing (PEO) model.
Our sister company, Costaff Services, has since evolved to servicing hundreds of clients and managing thousands of employees — proving the model that THC delivers to our clients today. Our seasoned team of experts and professionals averages 15 years of experience in their respective fields.
In 2007, Costaff launched Costaff Benefit Services, an employee benefit agency servicing its PEO clients, as well as benefits-only clients that work direct to the insurance carriers. This expanded our service offering to now be able to offer employee benefits only.
